Skull

This Skull is painted with traditional tools on real paper... i have to mention that, for the most images posted here are digital.

For a commission i am trying to adapt the drawing style of Alex Ross. He paints his pages in a traditional way, and i think they look just awesome.

After trying out several papers i could find, here is an attempt on bristol board. At last the right kind of paper that i need for the job.
Now i have to practice more.












And here a little tweeking on the levels in Photoshop, but in the end, i have to manage to get those contrast in the real painting:

Hello. Been a while.

This is a sketch, or more, two sketches, in a manner of Alex Ross' Paintings of the Avengers and the Justice League.
The idea came through a commission were that style was asked for.
I will post it, when it it finished.

These 2 sketches are just ideas, i have some more for some characters, so it this is like a guide.

Jay Leno Portrait - Part 1

This is a portrait of the Late Night Talk Show host Jay Leno.
My mom and i liked to watch him, and i still do from time to time. He is totally cool. And because i am on a little fair today and do some caricatures, i hope, if nobody wants one, then i have an easy day in the sun... anyways, i tried some prominet guys, but i can't scan at the moment, so i drew him again in photoshop within 15 minutes, most of the time i did the shading, and i had to stop me from shading anything more than that what i did... That is why this is part one, i hope i can finish him in a completed digital painting soon.
